The North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) was founded in 1904 as the Greeley Hospital. It has had several names since, and in the mid-1980s became the North Colorado Medical Center. Charlie Monfort of Greeley is an owner and general partner of the Colorado Rockies. Brothers Charlie and Dick Monfort do extensive community outreach through their family-directed Monfort Family Foundation. Charlie Monfort was named president of Monfort International Sales Corporation in 1988, and in 1990, he became president of ConAgra Refrigerated Foods International, Inc., which consolidated with Monfort International Sales Corporation.
