Ag Leader Agrium Grows in Northern Colorado
Loveland serves as the retail headquarters for Canada-based Agrium, Inc, a global producer and distributor of agricultural products and services.
Agrium purchased Loveland-based Crop Production Services in 1993, and is an industry leader that works to promote and advance sustainable farming practices. The company has hundreds of facilities across North America, and makes everything from custom blended fertilizer to agricultural chemicals, fungus control, pest control and custom seeding solutions.
Plans are in the works to build a new 30-acre site in Loveland, which, when complete in mid-2017, will house an additional 300 employees. The company also has a manufacturing facility in Greeley, and is in the process of building an 18,000-square-foot facility there for researching and testing new fertilizer products.
